Bob is one of owners of Gaughn’s Drug Store. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1989. He worked for the former owners of Gaughn’s, Harold and Nancy Singleton, as an intern in the 1980s and as a staff pharmacist from 2000 to 2005. In January of 2005 Bob, Scott Newton, and Judy purchased the store from the Singletons. An avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan since the mid-1970s, Bob was very happy to become a Steeler’s season ticket holder at last in 2007. Bob also has a deep interest in the American presidency and American history in general. He has visited many Civil War and Revolutionary War battlefields over the years and hopes to see numerous other historic sites in the future. Most important to Bob are his parents, who recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The past few years have been challenging for him and his parents, as his dad has been battling Parkinson’s disease. Bob is very proud of how his father has always fought the disease, and how his mother has always been there for him as his caregiver.
